Good Afternoon and Morning to everyone back home. Today was an energizing day so far! Started by getting some stuff done around the house before heading out to Pump and Sculpt!!! I love this class! It is so much fun; the teacher is crazy, which I love, the people chat and say hello, and… I found a place and person to go to to get my hair cut! The girl in class next to me had really cute hair, and I think I may copy but a bit longer version. After that if was off to the grocery store, and home. I’m currently working on trying out some bread again, and when I went to start some soup, I opened up the fridge to find a crazy onion! Not THE Onion, the hilarious newspaper which is always funny, but THIS onion:

I swear to you this thing grew over night! I cut off a small piece last night for a stir fry and then put it in the fridge. This was not there last night. I didn’t even know plants could grow in the fridge!!! Crazy.
So does anyone know if I can grow this thing? Cut it out, put it in some dirt and get an onion from it??
Guess what Everybody!!
I did it! End of the 7 day arm challenge by Skinny Ms., click here to see challenge, and I reached my goal! I even had my husband watch to make sure I that I actually did it!
I completed a push up! A honest true guys guy, no girls allowed push up! There was no snake dance move similarity or anything!
As you can tell, I am so very proud of my unathletic self… who knows, I may become one of those awesome marathoner, sports, triathlon, take on the world athletic people.
All in due time.
Day Two: So sore.
On day one I used 8lbs. weights for the Bicep curls and 5lbs. weights for the Tricep kickbacks. Then I decided to do yoga after instead of before. Lesson learned.
Day two, 20 minutes and exhausted. The body rock tv girl, even though it looks like a simple enough exercise, really tires you out. I like the challenge so far because it gives you a set exercise to do, on a certain day, and switches it up so it is different each day. More than anything, it provides structure, which I’m pretty sure I need.
I think I may also try their summer butt challenge after the arm challenge to keep motivated. But we’ll see. 5 more days till push up test!
Happy Love Train Tuesday!
I can’t do a push up. If my 6th grade English teacher saw what I just wrote I would be in soooo much trouble and in a time out in the hallway, serious consequences. Above her blackboard on a huge sign was CAN’T with a ghost buster circle and line through it. It’s true though, I can’t, or should I say… I am currently unable to do a push up. My husband thinks it’s hilarious when I try. My arms start shaking, my but goes up into the air, and by the end it looks like a failed attempt at trying to do the snake than an actual push up.
So although I am ok admitting what I can not do, I am in no way admitting defeat. On to…
THE 7 DAY ARMS CHALLENGE !
As many things, I came across this on pinterest and am starting the challenge today! I want to see if it works and I get any results. I would love to see the results of toned arms and the under arm flab no longer jiggle when I wave my arms… however, I am realistic and know that will take more than 7 days. So my reasonable goal to see if there is truly improvement will be a push up.
One single push up. (As I said, I’m realistic.)
Who’s with me? If you try the 7 Day Challenge I would love to hear about your results.
Here is the website that the challenge is from. It has a list of the exercises and you tube videos explaining the exercises as well.
P.S. No gym is needed. Yay!
