Last Day in Barcelona
While stopping off for a quick cup of coffee on the way to the beach, this view caught my eye.
I love all the color!
So below is what I imagine LA to look like. They even had a beach gym!

While in Barcelona, we had a picnic in the beautiful Park Guell. Unfortunately, once we starting walking around on the paths I forgot to pull out the camera till the end. The first three are views from the bench where we ate lunch.
And below are some pictures of the artwork at the end of our time here near the entrance.
More pictures of Barcelona!
I loved this pale yellow and grayish blue building.
Old ships are great, while walking past we even saw someone swabbing a deck.
Here are some more Pics of the interesting architecture around Barcelona. Again, Please note I was on a bus.
Ok, so here’s my thing about some of these gigantic art pieces people reside in… I can’t help but think they look like bones. I see a digit and pubic bones. Anyone else? Anyone?
I love that everyone rides motor bikes here! So much so that they have their own little starting race line. When everyone else stops at a red light behind their line, they ride in between everyone up to their own starting line. I tried to convince my husband to go on a motor bike tour around Barcelona (and pretty much everywhere else we go), but he said no. I think he thinks I’ll injure myself, which considering my track record with unmotorized two wheel vehicles, he may be right.
Beautiful Barcelona!!! Please excuse some of these pictures since most for the next few post were taken from the top of a moving bus. The good news is that the tops of the buildings were beautiful!
And the weather was amazing! Not a cloud in the sky… well one. Which, that alone should have been a sign to put some sun block on my white self, especially considering the sun and I’s ongoing love/hate relationship (I love the sun and the sun hates me). However, I fear living on the English isle for the last year impaired my memory, the thought of sun and it’s consequences completely escaped me.
Even their light post are artsy!
Our last evening in Krakow we took it easy, sitting at an outdoor cafe, drinking some mulled wine, watching the world walk by. There were people from all walks of life, from students, to nuns, to drunk Russians dancing for roaming Italian Polish musicians. Unfortunately we didn’t get a picture of the last one.
Can you see our mulled wine mugs above?
A horse and carriage even passed by!
I really liked Poland, and would love to go back. It was just so cute!
The city just had a cozier feel than most.

If I could tell you more about this church I would.
Wawel Castle was definitely worth the trip up if you visit Krakow. Although, be aware you must purchase tickets in advance because so many are given out per day. Unfortunately, I read and the immediately forgot that little piece of information so we didn’t go in. But it was fun walk around and have lunch there.
I really like this first picture, and the dreary day colors. I’m not exactly sure what the building is, but I love it.
I also like the set- up of the red door and had to take a shot. I thought my husbands grandma would like this one.
They still have functioning gate around the castle which is always fun.
And there are the vines. All the vines made me feel more justified in the story book feel the city left me with.
And they’re not just any vines (quite possibly b/c it was the winter and the leaves were on their way out) but very fairy talesque (yes, it’s a word I just made up) vines.
